Duane Daniels is an award winning actor, director, and producer. He is the recipient of the Drama-Logue Award, Patte Award, ACT Award, Aubrey Award, and was nominated for a Garland Award for excellence in Theatre. He has appeared onstage in cities around the world, including NYC, LA, San Diego, Toronto, Dublin, San Antonio, Atlanta, Calgary, San Francisco, Albany, Minneapolis, and Cleveland. He has recently been busy as a recurring guest star on the television shows Veronica Mars and Fashion House. His film credits include roles in Brentwood Aztecs, Covert, Intentional Collision, and Let Her Be this past summer. He will finish the feature film First Strike in January.
Duane is an accomplished singer and has performed with the San Diego Opera and Cleveland Symphony, as well as playing the title role in Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd three times. In 1991, Duane founded the Fritz Theatre, and through this company has produced over 200 plays. Every summer he oversees the Annual “Fritz Blitz” of New Plays, showcasing California Playwrights. Duane is also a professional acting teacher and regularly visits schools to empower young people through the theatre arts.
